T-Mobile and Sprint officially end merger talks

After months of on-again-off-again discussions about merging, T-Cellular and Dash have formally known as it quits. The businesses collectively announced today that they’ve ended negotiations after they have been “unable to search out mutually agreeable phrases.”

In its announcement, Dash’s President and CEO Marcelo Claure says that whereas they acknowledged the potential worth in merging, “we now have agreed that it’s best to maneuver ahead on our personal.” T-Cellular’s President and CEO John Legere outlined that any merger must usher in long-term worth to his shareholders.
