Those towering wind turbines which are gradually beginning to cover countrysides across the globe do not simply show up immediately–and they are certainly not dropped in position by a helicopter. They arrive on trucks in bits–staggeringly enormous pieces–which test the skills of drivers navigating streets not designed to adapt 200-foot long trailers.
Despite the capacity to independently steer the trailer’s back wheels, watching this trucker move a gigantic wind turbine blade round a sharp 90-degree back, and then on a bridge, is a glorious ballet to behold. I’d almost surely require a few thousand forth and back efforts to pull off this, and from the time I got to the work site fusion reactors could have long since replaced end electricity.[Vimeo through The Awesomer]
